OM4G - Communique at the heart of EE 4G launch

Communique was at the heart of EE’s 4G mobile network launch, deploying 200 ambassadors across nine UK locations to bring the brand to life among the company’s 15,000 employees.

Overnight the offices were rebranded and transformed. Communique’s ‘day makers’ welcomed each and every employee to get them excited about the launch and broadcast they were part of something revolutionary. Throughout the day celebrations took place and employees were invited to be the first to participate and be part of it.

Activities included digital competitions, commemorative team photos, sampling Britain’s favourite food with a celebratory first day menu, free beauty treatments, recording their thoughts on the cab cam (from the branded taxi), goody bags (including t-shirt) and lots of social media updates.

“It’s fantastic that Communique played such an integral role in making ‘Day One’ happen for EE, we relished the challenge of simultaneously bringing nine locations to life with the new brand,” says managing director Chris Page. “Our 'day makers' did a fantastic job and made the day very special and certainly memorable among its employees.”

The new EE brand, born in the digital age, is designed to serve both consumers and businesses alike. EE offers the UK’s only 4G LTE mobile service and fixed-line broadband for superfast internet at home, work and on the move.
