Communique drive awareness of Pixel by Google and Daydream View on EE

Communique have recently completed a four week roadshow promoting the proposition of purchasing a Pixel phone by Google on EE and receiving a free Daydream View headset. Visiting eight shopping centres around the UK the key objective was to increase EE store footfall and raise Google product awareness.

 

Communique were responsible for the design of an enaging stand which would encourage shoppers to interact with the latest VR technology from Google. Using their strong logistical capabilites they were able to source suitable shopping centre locations with high footfall and provide experienced, trained staff to promote the product.

 

Their solution was to design an open and inviting space allowing for relaxed demonstrations of both Pixel devices and the Daydream VR Headset using 360 video footage of EE’s recent coverage and sponsorship of the BAFTAs.

 

Visiting ten shopping centre locations across the country over 25 live event days the team were able to showcase 30 Google Pixel devices and 6 Daydream VR headsets. Over 6,000 miles were covered and 600 hours were spent, by consumers, in virtual reality.

 

Approximately 5,000 interactions and demonstrations took place with shoppers and the initial feedback is showing that product awareness has been increased by a fantastic 77% with 89% of the stand visitors leaving interested in purchasing a Pixel phone by Google on EE.
